Welcome Alumni!
The Beta Xi chapter is fortunate to have more than 1200 members initiated as Knights in the Legion of Honor at William Jewell. Many of those men have left the "Hill" to pursue successful careers in a variety of professions.

Our Past
It has been said, "A chapter is only as strong as the support it receives from its alumni." Throughout history the undergraduate chapter has been fortunate to have had key alumni that have shared their time and treasures to protect and ensure the future of our chapter's legacy. Without those alumni who served as the ONE advisor that guided a chapter of 40, 50 or even 60 active chapter members, Beta Xi would not have provided the opportunity for so many of us experiences Sigma Nu.

Our Future
Now As the Beta Xi prepares to re-open and establish a new chapter in our history, there will be a number of changes. One of those changes will be the way we support the undergraduate chapter. Our future commands that a wider, more diverse collection of alumni serve this new chapter. The days of expecting one person to guide the chapter has passed —

The new model consists of establishing a team of 10 – 15 alumni from different generations to serve on the Alumni Advisory Board. Members of this board will each advise 1-2 chapter officers, rotate weekly chapter meetings, facilitate LEAD Sessions and stand as network of mentors for this new group of undergraduate men.

Our Plan
Take time to see the plan that's been put in place by looking at Beta Xi's Strategic Plan. These objectives were created last June by a group of 11 alumni during a facilitated weekend retreat by Ginny Carroll from InGiNuity consulting.

Although Sigma Nu was founded to develop undergraduate men, part of Sigma Nu Fraternity's Mission is "To perpetuate lifelong friendships and commitment to the Fraternity."
Strategic Plan

Now it is our turn to reestablish a place where we can help young men have the same opportunities we had to develop lifelong friendships and commitment to Sigma Nu!
